Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 8 June 2026

This policy explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work for paid WasteContractWatch subscriptions, operated by Novarly. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. How billing works

Paid plans are subscriptions billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Each payment covers the month ahead and your subscription renews automatically until you cancel.

2. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from your account page or by emailing support@wastecontractwatch.com. When you cancel:

  • your subscription will not renew for the next billing period;
  • you keep access to your paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for; and
  • we do not charge a cancellation fee.

3. Refunds

Because plans are billed monthly and you keep access for the remainder of a paid month after cancelling, we do not generally provide partial refunds for the current billing period. However, we want the Service to be worth paying for, so:

  • 7-day goodwill window. If you are a first-time subscriber and the Service did not work as described, contact us within 7 days of your first payment and we will refund that payment.
  • Billing errors. We refund duplicate charges, charges after a valid cancellation, and charges resulting from our own error in full.
  • Service failures. If a significant fault on our side prevents you from using the Service for an extended period, contact us and we will put it right, which may include a credit or refund.

4. Your statutory rights

WasteContractWatch is sold for business and professional use, so consumer cooling-off rights do not generally apply. Nothing in this policy removes any rights you may have under applicable law that cannot be excluded; this goodwill policy is in addition to those rights.

5. How to request a refund

Email support@wastecontractwatch.com from your account email address with a brief explanation. We aim to respond within a few business days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Stripe; the time to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.

6. Chargebacks

If something looks wrong with a charge, please contact us first — we can almost always resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Raising a chargeback without contacting us may lead to suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated.
